Planting a Tree as we Celebrate our first Christmas Together

We have had over two years of preparing for our lives together, and neither of us really dared to dream we would be so blessed to finally get our third and first Christmas together physically. It took a lot of loving and planning to bring us into one country, so we could share the day in each others company. We stripped it right back to basics, with a simple day, based solely on love and awakening our divine light.

Jason arrived home to Ireland on the 23rd of December, the day after the Winter Solstice.  He was exhausted after about 18 hours of driving and crossing the ferry over to Ireland and is still recovering today on St. Stephens Day. I know though he would say it was worth it.

We really did not know if he would make it back in time, and we had asked Spirit to give us a clear path if it was intended that he should be here. They of course did and it was really cutting it fine, when he came joyfully through the door late on the night before Christmas Eve. Relief washed over both of us as we began the process of preparing for our first Christmas together. For the first time in my 46 years,  I had made no major plans for the day and I was very much open to whatever was to occur for us. I have spent years craving a no fuss Christmas, which can be so challenging to achieve when life is actively very busy. With the slowing down of life for me this year and committing to taking better care of my health, I was so grateful for a day that was just quiet and non-demanding. A day to just be as we welcomed in the light of such a memorable day in history.

We exchanged gifts and took part in a moment that will stay engrained in our Soul for decades to come. I will share more of this with you, as our path emerges together. For now its our special moment that we get to keep for ourselves, until Spirit says its time to put it out there. Our paths have always been fated and its taken a lot of change and patience to help it evolve.

To mark our connection and love of nature, I surprised Jason with this moment in time, where our lives finally had roots. We are aware of the wolf that enters our Spirit Circle and who has been guarding us gently over the years. So when an advert for planting a tree by the Wolfgang Reforest project here in Ireland popped up just a few days before Christmas, I knew it was something that would give us both a lot of grounding and comfort. I felt inspired to commit to it and love the fact you receive a certificate that allows you to honor your tree. Our tree.

I hope it inspires you to help save our planet, while putting down new roots for future generations.
