Meeting Jackie Wright, Finding My Spiritual Family, and the Journey Ahead

There are moments on a spiritual path that feel so deeply aligned, so divinely orchestrated, that they take your breath away. I recently experienced one of those milestones, and my heart is still overflowing with gratitude as I process everything that transpired.

I had the absolute honor of attending a workshop this past weekend led by Jackie Wright, President of the SNU (Spiritualists' National Union). For those who know my journey, this was a profoundly emotional and full-circle experience. I have waited along time for this moment.

A Prophecy Fulfilled

Years ago, my guide, Gordon Higginson, spoke of Jackie in his communications with me. He didn’t just mention her; he explicitly predicted that she would one day become the president of the SNU.

To stand in her presence, witness her leadership, and experience the vast amount of training she shared with us on that day was surreal. It is a powerful reminder that the guidance we receive from the spirit world is real, patient, and precise. (If you want to read more about how this connects to my path, it’s actually featured on page 29 of my book, The Way of the Twelve). I was delighted to be able to share it directly with Jackie on the day.

The Solitary Path: Solitude, Slow Progress, and Deep Connection

Walking the path of a solitary medium can often be a lonely endeavor. Progress can sometimes feel slow, requiring a quiet, steady perseverance when you are mostly walking hand-in-hand with the unseen.

However, I have come to realize that solitude carries its own sacred gift: it means you truly get to be your own medium. It forces you to cultivate a direct, unshielded relationship with the divine, learning how to be with spirit in a completely unique, intimate kind of way. For the lessons learned in those quiet, solitary moments, I am endlessly grateful. I still enjoy the quiet path and where it weaves me towards are deeply humbling.

Validation, Respect, and a New Home

While the training Jackie provided was phenomenal, the most meaningful part of the day went far beyond the curriculum.

Jackie took the time to listen. She listened with genuine care and deep respect for the body of work I have completed. Most importantly, she embraced my vision for my book and its teachings, validating a core truth I hold dear:

The true essence of our spiritual journey is about developing ourselves as human beings—not just sharpening our ability to communicate with spirit.

Her willingness to embrace this message and welcome me wholeheartedly into the college meant the world to me.

Finding My Tribe in Belfast

As I prepare my course for The Way of the Twelve for delivery, I am finding myself spending time getting to know wonderful new fellow students and friends at Belfast Spiritual Church.

They say family comes in all shapes and sizes, and I am so deeply glad to be finding mine.

I wasn't alone on this leg of the journey, either. I was joined by Jason Smith. We’ve had our fair share of struggles to overcome, but standing side-by-side with him as we honored a path we started together made the day even more special.

Looking Forward: Books, Courses, and Inspiration

Life is moving quickly, and the creative and spiritual energy is flowing. Right now, I am happily settling into the writing of:

My second book: The Teachings of Spirit

My third book: What Your Angels Want You To Know

And preparing my curriculum for The Way of the Twelve course.

If there is one thing I hope you take away from my journey, it is this: Trust your path, honor the guidance you receive, and never stop growing.

May my journey toward you inspire you to be the absolute best version of yourself that you can possibly be.

A Special Note of Thanks: Feeling at Home in My Trance Mediumship

No milestone is ever reached alone, and stepping into this next chapter of my journey has been made all the more meaningful by the wonderful people who have welcomed me with open arms.

I want to offer a heartfelt thank you to fellow Mediums Julie Coyle, Vivienne Reynolds, and Charlotte Henderson.

Stepping forward with your work as a trance medium requires a deep vulnerability, and having a space where that sacred connection is understood and honored is a true gift. From the moment I connected with Julie, Vivienne, and Charlotte, they went above and beyond to make me feel completely at home. More than that, they genuinely welcomed and embraced my work as a Trance Medium with open hearts and open minds.

Having that kind of support, validation, and sisterhood on this path is invaluable. Thank you for creating a safe, welcoming space for spirit to speak through, and for making me feel so deeply seen and appreciated.

Note on Imagery: While we did not get time to take a joint photograph on the day, I put together a mock-up of what that moment would have looked like.

With love, light, and blessings,
