It is a profound and humbling thing to watch something you birthed from your inner world step out into the wider one.
Lately, I have been deeply moved by the pictures and messages being shared by those who have felt the calling to bring The Way of the Twelve out into the open. From discussions in local churches and quiet corners of cafes to wonderful guests dropping into Malakim Cottage to share readings and reflections with me, the journey has taken on a life of its own.
As someone who navigates daily health challenges, my physical footprint is smaller than it used to be. Because of this, my gratitude for everyone carrying this work forward is boundless. You are my hands and feet in the world when my body requires me to rest.
Deeper Contemplations: Family Dynamics and Hidden Pain
In moments of quiet reflection, I’ve found myself thinking that I could have offered even more within the work—deeper contemplations for transformation, and starker examples of the invisible frameworks that govern our lives.
Over decades of sitting with clients as a psychic, I have seen and heard a great deal. Behind closed doors, I have watched how families pull each other apart just to maintain rigid, unwritten roles. We fracture ourselves to fit into family systems, carrying past pain and silent trauma that subtly dictates our choices, our relationships, and our self-worth decades later. True healing requires us to look right at these patterns—not with judgment, but with radical honesty.
The Roots of Healing: Energy, Trauma, and Awakening
My own path toward understanding this didn’t happen overnight. Many years ago, I began an intensive journey under Andrew Hann, author of The One Hour Miracle, exploring the framework of Guided Self-Healing.
That training taught me two vital truths:
How deeply trauma is stored physically within the body.
How dynamic and responsive human energy truly is.
It has taken close to 25 years of my life to truly make peace with my own trauma. Yet, woven into those decades of wrestling with pain, I discovered a vast landscape of learning—finding new ways to rise into my higher self.
I remember training with Andrew vividly. It was during that period that my energy noticeably lightened, culminating in one of my first consciously aware experiences of channeling—one that left Andy completely speechless. i was just 28 years of age and it was a profound experience. To this day, I still return to his framework whenever I encounter heavy inner layers that need to be faced.
In fact, I am just about to order a fresh copy of his book. I want to revisit his simplified framework for doing the inner work, exploring how it can seamlessly team up with The Way of the Twelve as a practical resource to help all of us travel a little lighter.
Walking the Path Together
While The Way of the Twelve remains focused primarily on the daily principles we can live our lives by, it also fiercely recognizes that no framework can lift us into the light without shadow work. And because shadow work is deeply individual, no single path looks identical for everyone.
My natural abilities have always helped me lean past my history and connect with who I am fundamentally beyond the trauma. My greatest hope is that these principles help you do the exact same thing.
As we continue exploring The Way of the Twelve together, I would love to hear from you.
