There are moments in life that feel less like ordinary days and more like turning points—quiet, sacred shifts that ripple outward. June 22nd was one of those days for me. It marked the official launch of The Way of the Twelve, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful way to welcome it into the world.
Gathered within the warm, welcoming walls of Malakim Cottage, I was surrounded by some of the people I love most. There is a specific kind of comfort that comes from being in a room where you can truly be yourself, without pretense or armor.
The Magic of Being "Weird"
As we spent the day in great conversation and shared a gentle reading, a beautiful truth emerged: being sensitive and weird is a wonderful kind of magic.
In a world that often demands we fit into neat, predictable boxes, there is profound fun and freedom in embracing our quirks. Our gatherings reminded me that love often hides in the most unconventional places—it’s found in the laughter over something small, the shared silence of those who have seen their fair share of struggles, and the quiet understanding that passes between souls who are doing their best to navigate this life.
The Birth of The Sensitive Souls Society
It was within that same space, fueled by connection and heart-led conversation, that we began to weave the first threads of The Sensitive Souls Society.
This wasn’t a long-planned venture. Just days before the launch, I received a vision—a gentle guidance from The Malakims—that shifted my perspective and opened the path forward. The Society is a reflection of that vision: a space built on the belief that sensitivity is a strength, and that we are stronger when we lean into the kindness of spirit together.
Embracing Emotional Realities
Our time together was a living testament to Romans 12:15:
"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep."
This passage serves as a cornerstone for what we are building. It reminds us that true empathy isn't about fixing or changing one another; it is about being fully present in all emotional realities. Whether we are celebrating a breakthrough or holding space during a season of grief, we are walking this path together.
I have faced my own fair share of struggles over the years. There were times when the road felt isolating, but this launch reminded me—deep in my bones—that I do not walk alone.
The love we pour into others has a funny way of finding its way back to us. All the support and care I have shared over the years has, in turn, helped me learn how to love myself more.
Thank you to everyone who joined me at Malakim Cottage. Here is to the magic of the quirky, the power of our sensitivity, and the beautiful, unfolding journey of The Way of the Twelve.
