My son was born with a brown tea stain birthmark on his right arm, that runs from the elbow close to his wrist. As he got older he would often talk about spirit people and then about the bicycle accident he had that caused the mark on his arm. He never had a serious bicycle accident in this life. But he insisted between the ages of 10 - 13 that he did as a young boy. The brown stain still exists and it's clear that it is a birthmark. I often questioned was it related to a previous life and could he be sharing a glimpse of a moment in time in a past life he had been wounded in.
I was intrigued, as I knew my son was able to in his younger years name family members in the spirit world whom he had never met. So I sensed with this whole story he had stored in his mind about his arm and the bicycle accident, there must be some truth within it. So I decided to investigate it further and explore can we carry forward memories from our previous lives that manifest as birthmarks on our bodies.
Let me conclude before we begin, that I firmly believe our bodies hold memories we can access from all lifetimes, and from my honest view and experiences within client sessions, yes we most certainly can have birthmarks that link us to the past.
In my research, I found there is little medical explanation or theory as to why birthmarks occur in certain areas of the body. According to a study conducted by Dr. Ian Stevenson, approximately 35% of children can recall the birthmarks on their body as been linked to a previous past life memory. In some cases, he was able to link the child's memories and details provided to an actual deceased person. I found this fascinating.
The marks themselves often corresponded to a wound, often fatal, that child had experienced in the previous life. It seems that many birthmarks have a story to tell and could be used as a portal for past life regression work, conducted in a controlled environment. This regression can act as a means to assist healing in healing that life completely. Information about these birthmarks can also be obtained through working with the Akashic Records of the person.
The marks themselves can have a varied meaning but here is what some of them may represent:
- A singular small birthmark - wound from a weapon or gunshot
- A cluster or widespread scattered range of small birthmarks - a gun fired several times
- A large patched birthmark - burns, or a serious injury
- A scar with varying degrees of shades and length - knife, ax, or arrow wound
- Wart type birthmarks - a form of disease such as leprosy
How these are presented in pigmentation can represent if they are still active energy-requiring healing or if they have already been healed.
- Red and dark tones can indicate an active past life experience that requires healing.
- White and pale tones can indicate a past life that has already been resolved.
Accessing past lives can give us the opportunity to deepen our Souls evolution. Which can be a very liberating experience.
