How To Know Your A Spiritually Intelligent Person

Many of us are striving to become the best version of ourselves we can be. We recognize the times we live in are not easy, and we wish to contribute to the world through creating mindful  dharma, by embodying our truth and living within the spiritual laws of the universe.

To be spiritually aware and enlightened means we are living our best, most purposeful life.

We need to learn to be comfortable with emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. So that our focuse is on the whole complete unique human experience. Danah Zohar, developed 10 signs of spiritually intelligent person and she has several books we highly recommend if your seeking to align to a more spiritual path. So here are 10 Signs of Spiritual Intelligence in a person

  1. They practice self awareness and are comfortable in asking questions of themselves. They look within for answers and are not dependent on others to provide those answers for them. They know themselves at a deep level and have a solid understanding of their emotions and how they respond or react to things. Self awareness could be considered the first step to creating spiritual intelligence. 
  2. They are motivated by principles and values and can stand by their decisions and word. The have a sense of understanding and responsibility to themselves and the world around them. They do the right thing and are able to stand by their principles. It can be classified as dharma, which is doing the right thing at the right time. Even if its hard.
  3. They can transform adversity or challenges into a growth process. They will always reflect back to what can they take from this experience. Even if its painful they will find purpose and meaning within the experience, if it applies. 
  4. They take a holistic approach to how they handle life's challenges and look at things from all angles. They don't just dive in, but use discernment in how they approach and handle things. They look at the potentials, the possibilities and the even hazards they could encounter. They look at it from emotional levels and spiritual levels to see the higher perspective within it. 
  5. They are diverse and they see the diversity in others. They appreciate others and the paths they walk, recognizing there is oneness by been open to being part of something bigger. They are we focused rather than me focused. But equally are comfortable in doing things by themselves.
  6. They are independent. They don't need others and cease being a sheep. They don't follow the crowd and they do what's best for themselves. They think for themselves and choose their path based on their own values.
  7. They learn to ask why! Why are they doing something? Does it have meaning and value? What is the motivation and drive for my choices. There is a deep connection to living from a state of real soul depth and they also learn valuable insights by asking other questions like, what's my outcome here?
  8. They see the big picture. The look outside the box. Every step and decision made, serves the bigger picture or the long term dharma. They are not narrow minded. They take in to consideration others on their journey and express sincere empathy for those around them. 
  9. They have compassion. This is a fundamental part of being spiritually intelligent. Because they able to feel a real soul connection to people and to others, they begin to expand their own spirit. They reflect on how their choices could impact others. They always intend to do good by others and follow through on their word.
  10. They are spontaneous. They live in the flow of life and they live their truth on every level. They feel the presence of life and live life to the fullest in each moment. They feel fully connected and loved.

By developing a self realization path, you become that Spiritual Intelligent person. Take a moment to reflect on the 10 points and honestly ask yourself where your at right now on your spiritual growth path. This template can allow you to assess the relationship you have with yourself and others. Are you being true to your spirit and are you able to be present while others are developing their own Spiritual Intelligence?
